Built design :

One good thing about the rear panel is that, due to it's finish one is no longer concerned about the fingerprints. On the innovative aspect, Samsung has incorporated two circular clips (as in image) on the back of Tab S for it's smart cover, for the ease of clipping.
The plus points for Tab S, are the Super AMOLED display boasting WQXGA resolution. The Galaxy Tab S is also the slimmest (6.6mm) and lightest (465/294 grams) tablet in Samsung’s portfolio.
Talking of specifications, the bigger 10.5-inch tablet features a 7,900mAh battery, while the 8.4-inch has a 4,900mAh battery.

You also get a fingerprint reader, hidden beneath the home buttons!!

The tablets flaunt a Super AMOLED display with WQXGA resolution (2560×1600 pixels) that translates into 288ppi for the 10.5-inch variant and 359ppi for the 8.4-inch variant.

Specifications:

  •  The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 in India is powered by an octa-core Exynos 5 SoC (four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores) coupled with 3GB of RAM.
  • While the international version of the tablet packs a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with integrated LTE functionality.
